Mazza Chautauqua Cellars, sister winery to Mazza Vineyards in North East, PA, was established in 2005 and is focused on carrying on the Mazza tradition of fine wines. In addition to a wine cellar and café, there is also a distillery on site, the only one in Western New York, used to create distilled beverages such as Eau de Vie and Grappa. The German-made Christian Carl copper pot still is the center piece of the building, and is visible from the tasting room above. The adjoining café features fresh salads and panini sandwiches along with a wide selection of homemade desserts. Food from the café can be enjoyed with a glass or bottle of wine from the winery indoors or in the open air patio that overlooks the scenic grounds.
